A client with locations in Ethridge and Kevin, MT are actively looking to hire an IT System Administrator to their team on a permanent basis. The client is looking to hire a professional that is proficient in the following:
- Respond to user issues and requests; resolve issues; record solutions in IT Ticketing system
- Manage the Company's server infrastructure; apply patches and upgrades as needed
- Manage the Company's applications including changes, upgrades, fixes, and user requests
- Troubleshoot issues with networks, applications, and computers
- Plan for and deploy new hardware for users in a consistent manner including workstations, laptops, and phones
- Communicate clearly to users and management about issues, upgrades, and new systems
- Write clear and concise knowledge base articles, FAQs, and user guides
- Create, write, and present proposals for IT solutions and applications as part of the annual budget cycle
- Work with all departments to support and maintain specific applications
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows server and workstation operating systems
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office application suite
- Expert knowledge of workstation and server build best practices
- Familiarity with VMware and Hyper-V environments
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts including routers, firewalls, wireless, etc.
- Basic knowledge of web sites and web design
- Basic knowledge of Linux preferred
- Demonstrated organizational expertise to build the HR function in a fast-growing company
