Serves as the evangelist of the architectural vision, strategy, and principles to internal staff, customers, analysts, and executive leadership. Displays leadership both within assigned team as well as the larger IT division. Mentors and teaches other individuals in both technical and non-technical skills.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Interprets, evaluates, resolves and tests client inquiries or issues regarding the functional operation of application hardware and software.

Architects and implements technical components of enterprise-wide technical systems.

Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.

Serves as technical expert in design, development, and integration.

Demonstrates highest technical competency in all phases of systems or applications.

EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related fields and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.EXPERIENCE:Broad technical experience with LAN/WAN technologies including, Storage Area Networks, Server and Desktop Operating Systems, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, and Communication Protocols. In depth design experience and working knowledge of Active Directory, IIS, DHCP/DNS, TCP/IP, Windows Server, VMware Infrastructure, SAN (Fiber channel, FCoE and iSCSI), Hyper—convergence, as well as cloud technologies such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure.Experience designing and providing technical leadership for implementation of enterprise scale systems with High Availability Configurations (Clustering, Load Balancing, Fault Tolerance, etc.), Systems Configuration Management, Optimization Tuning, and Monitoring. Preferred background working in security focused environments with skills in designing systems with a proactive audit posture. Experience with Cisco UCS, Amazon AWS, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure design and implementation.COMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:A strong understanding of Client-Server solutions that support distributed databases and web applications as well as application development best practices.

A working knowledge of security best practices.

Strong analytical and judgment skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical clients.
