Job Description SummaryResponsible for installation and maintenance of building infrastructure and critical systems operating in a cGMP quality system.

Leads projects in which flawed decision making or recommendations will result in failure to achieve critical organizational objectives.

Works under consultative direction toward long term goals and objectives. Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain results.

Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures, and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies, and procedures.

Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Ownership of critical infrastructure including High Purity Water Systems and HVAC
  • Management of Capital Projects including capital project initiation, and project execution
  • Knowledge of system operating inputs and costs with the objective of optimization
  • Investigate, propose, and implement activities and projects to improve reliability and efficiency of infrastructure.
  • Leadership of BDM-PS Columbus East Business Continuity initiatives
  • Coordinate shutdown planning and execution
  • Other duties as required to support the needs of the business

Minimum Education:This position has the following educational requirements:
  • BA/BS Degree in Engineering or related technical field

Minimum Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of facilities experience in a highly automated manufacturing environment
  • 3-5 years’ experience with Industrial infrastructure required
  • Previous experience with High Purity Water systems preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience with Industrial Architecture/MEP design highly preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience with Project Management required
  • Previous experience with industrial construction and renovation preferred
