Business Analyst (Data) Must be local to the DFW area - Must work onsite in Dallas office

Job Summary Perform detailed analysis on data feeds, generate documentation for data feed mapping and perform reconciliation of multiple source data feeds to insure validation of multiple data points.

SKILLS Required: Excel, Data Mapping, Requirements Gathering,

etc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed analysis on data feeds such as MS Excel (.xlsx), Text (.txt, .csv) and PDF
  • Work with business owners to obtain domain knowledge associated with feeds
  • Work collaboratively within a broader team of employees, contractors and vendors to reach a common goal on tight timelines
  • Ability to detect trends, commonalities and nuances associated with data feeds
  • Record findings in mapping documents to facilitate future automated ingestion of feeds
  • Remote communication with SMEs to understand business rules associated with data feeds
  • Ability to handle multiple work streams involving different stakeholders simultaneously
  • Ability to adhere to established implementation processes via professional communication and documentation

Minimum Qualifications
  • BA who can perform analysis, mapping, and data validation.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a business analyst focusing on data analytics
  • Microsoft Excel - intermediate to advanced
  • Microsoft Outlook - intermediate

Preferred Qualifications
  • Insurance industry experience
  • Financial analysis experience
Other: Solid business analysis experience - ability to work with minimal supervision. Must have excellent communication skills and great interpersonal skills! Position is in the Dallas office
