Monitor, mix or move materials and molded components
Complete paperwork and calculations as needed
Perform maintenance and cleaning as needed
Clean conveyors and parts separators at least once each shift
Verify and ensure that all equipment is cleaned and working properly
Understand and be familiar with all product defects, standards, specifications, and procedures in order to perform proper and required inspections, mold approvals, rejections and set up of gauges and leak testing.
Monitor quality of molded components and ensure that all necessary actions are taken for defective product (staging, disposition, blocking cavities and transactions)
Check for proper identification materials, components, and batch numbers.
Monitor the Conair system and material granulators including changing and cleaning filters on vacuum pumps and hopper filters each shift. Report issues to the Processor
Assist the processor in pull/sets of the molding tools, et.
Assist setting up conveyors, scales granulators and separation equipment
Stack tubbed/boxed product on pallets according to proper procedures
Perform and assist with necessary color changes and changeover procedures
Respond to alarms
Change and clean line and surge bin filters
Handle and store purgings.
Recycle components
Remove runner balls
Complete SAP transactions
Assist with training new associates
Must maintain regular punctual attendance
Level of Education/knowledge Needed:Required:High School Diploma or GED
Read, write, and speak English
Thorough knowledge of quality specifications and inspection procedures.
Ability to operate an Electric Pallet Jack, and Electric Stacker
Ability to operate a computer, use email and SAP
