Submit an application today!Responsibilities- Check and examine application performance for potential bottlenecks, name possible solutions, and operate with developers to apply those fixes- Maintain, test, configure, and install application software, operating systems, and system management tools- Assert backup, security, and redundancy strategies- Team up with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution- Take preventive action to safeguard the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability- Inscribe and uphold custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks- Oversee and follow up on all installed systems and infrastructure- Be involved the design of information and operational support systems- Assist with 2nd and 3rd level support Requirements - Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems - Solid scripting skills - We are particularly looking for candidates with solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks - Applicants who have experience with virtualization and containerization are preferred - Experience with monitoring systems - Experience with automation software - You might be a good fit for this position if you have solid networking knowledge- Experience with Virtual Server- Well-founded grasp of NetApp Storage- MS Windows Server 2012 experience preferred- Proven knowledge of NetApp- Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server 2008- Deep understanding of VMware- Vmware Infrastructure experience Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with some of the best companies on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
