Position Summary:

Provides leadership for those involved in the development, design, and optimization of one or more information technology and systems functions supporting company business processes and technical information systems platforms. Oversees multi-departmental infrastructure and processes to evaluate efficiency and opportunities for improvement in the pursuit of overall growth in the resources and services provided.

Essential Functions:

• Serve as the primary operational planner, vendor liaison and advocate for applications that satisfy core business functional requirements.• Provide project management support for core business stakeholders, carrying out unique and/or complex assignments requiring the development of new and/or improved techniques and procedures. Serves as Project Manager for Information Systems ongoing implementation and development for products and services.• Manages all information systems-related processes (MSP, etc.), identifying, communicating, and managing the key performance metrics identified for all stakeholders.• Provide analysis, recommendations on selections, and modifications of enterprise systems, application software, and installation of network hardware/software and database management.• Participate in procurement of equipment & services, including development of Requests for Proposal (RFP) process, vendor selection and vendor oversight, as required.• Coordinate with application stakeholders, understand their needs, define requirements, and develop implementation plans to address those needs.• Establishes and maintains the procedures/software/hardware required to protect the company’s data, tools, and information systems. Conducts tests, in partnership with all vendors, to ensure expected behavior and evaluate potential cybersecurity threats.• Ensures infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility.• Coordinates delivery of services to user groups and ensures information systems service is uninterrupted outside of planned maintenance windows.• Responds to system outages during and after hours, as required, ensuring effective communication of status updates with key management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Proven experience in IT infrastructure strategic planning and development, project management, and policy/procedure development• Demonstrated ability to work with key outsourced partners for MSP, etc. and internal resources to build a successful team to achieve organizational goals• Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems• Demonstrated ability to create documentation outlining potential business process improvements. • Oversee the process improvement implementation by working with managers, team members and other employees to ensure that the plan is clear and can be applied efficiently.• Conduct ongoing analysis and continue to monitor various processes to ensure that they are producing the desired outcomes. Make changes to steps in each process as needed to adjust improvements to reflect better results in production, cost reduction and other targeted outcomes.• Familiar with presenting progress reports and integrating feedback into consideration for overall company objectives and project timelines.• Ability to work off business hours, respond to on-call events (off-hours system management, maintenance, and communication)• Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards• Experience working with business users to establish priorities and manage expectations.• Excellent client services, interpersonal and communication skills.• Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to travel 10% of the time.

Experience:

• Minimum of five (5) years in a management capacity. Ten (10) years of relevant technical experience in information technology.• Prior experience with one or more of: Agile, Scrum, and Business Process Management, Project Management Certification (PMI) experience / associated relevant certifications required.• Experience with information systems design and development from business requirements analysis, development, and implementation through day-to-day management• Prior experience in a retail or franchise management setting preferred

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science or closely related field, or combination of education and relevant experience.
