Job Description

As a Control Systems Technician for the Technology Team, your primary role will be assisting engineers in design and integration of control systems including water, wastewater, thermal energy, oil & gas, electric, and industrial.This position involves communication and coordination with other engineering disciplines, other teams, subconsultants, clients, vendors, and contractors.You will be responsible for managing your tasks including automation system design assistance, programming, startup, and operator training. This position requires travel to project sites for meetings information collection, startup, and training activities.

Additional duties will include:

  • PLC/HMI software installation and configuration.
  • Researching and learning new industrial automation skills.
  • Troubleshooting control systems and Ethernet networks and serial communications.
  • Minor control panel assembly and installation.

You bring to the team:

  • Associate’s Degree inManufacturing, Computer Technology, or related field.
  • 0-5 years applicable experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation software.
  • Knowledge of drafting and design software (Microstation, AutoCAD).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
  • A passion for detailed work.
  • Computer/IT/Networking experience a plus.
