The Director will champion the PaymentSpring Product & IT strategic initiatives, leading and delivering successful new and enhanced payment products to support both internal and external business opportunities. In addition, the Director will successfully interact with clients and collaborate with internal teams to guide product vision and innovation, meet and exceed client needs, and create viable and relevant new market solutions.Responsibilities

Assist in defining strategic IT plans aimed at striking an optimum balance of information technology opportunities and business goal alignment & investment.

Foster and facilitate product innovation, including advancing ideas from conceptualization and product prioritization to launch.

Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and payments industry professionals.

Research industry trends in payments to identify new innovations, features, and integration opportunities.

Attract and retain the best people. Lead a team of diverse individuals and leverage their skills for optimal results. Champion team values and culture. Develop and maintain career pathing opportunities for each member of the team.

Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Infrastructure, Finance, and Cryptpay Development teams to ensure alignment and communication of goals and development prioritization.

Develop and maintain annual department budget.

Promote close collaboration with all technology providers within Nelnet and external entities.

Act as a personal champion of PaymentSpring and team goals.

Provide regular reporting to PaymentSpring leaders, company directors and board.

QualificationsEDUCATION:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (MBA preferred.EXPERIENCE:10+ years IT experience with 5 - 10 years in a management position.Payment Industry Experience required.Coding and experience with Front End/Payment gateways and mobile technology preferred.COMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
