Position DescriptionWhat does a great Software Development Intern do?
You will gain real life experience developing and applying technical and functional standards for a large Fintech company
Practice agile principals and ceremonies along with using tools such as Git, GitHub, JIRA and Confluence
Under direction, you will research, define, document, and prototype additions and changes to financial software products
Show commitment to a common purpose and meeting team objectives
Build software as a programmer adhering to standards and business requirements
Provide solutions for integrating data from different unrelated data sources, data mapping, integration, migration, validation, and clean-up, while contributing to and understanding the importance of architecture, performance and quality
Basic Qualifications for Consideration :
Currently enrolled or recent college graduate in Computer Science, Computer Programming or related discipline. Highschool diploma required.
Candidates should be creative, self-motivated problem solvers with the ability to analyze a broad range of technologies. They should also possess good communication and writing skills, be able to effectively multi-task, and have a strong analysis and analytical skill set.
Basic understanding of programming languages such as VB .net, C# or COBOL
Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:
Basic experience with relational databases and database languages such as MySQL, SQL, DB2 or Splunk
