DescriptionLocation: 3800 NW 12th Street, Lincoln, NESchedule: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday through FridayExamples of WorkAdministrator of the Nebraska Fusion Information Network (NFIN). This position reviews submissions into NFIN and will source and add value to the information, person's identity, &/or address information. This information comes into NIAC as an intelligence report or Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) from the State Patrol, other law enforcement entities, private partners, and the public through our SARs Portal. Recommendations are made on the upgrading or downgrading of the information. This position also adds geo located information into each intelligence report and SAR so it can be mapped and shown geographically within NFIN. Greet incoming persons to make sure they have proper identification. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications / RequirementsREQUIRED: Coursework/training in administrative/office support functions, procedures, and methods including the operation of personal computers and office equipment; research; or areas related to the programs and functions of the employing agency. OR Experience in performing administrative/office/secretarial support work including use of personal computers and office equipment.PREFERRED: Associate's degree in business or office management; experience working in law enforcement; experience with Microsoft Office with specific mastery of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; comfortable public speaker with experience organizing and presenting complex material; self-motivated individual that knows how to use initiative.OTHER: Regular and reliable attendance is expected.
