Robert Half Legal is recruiting a team of legal professionals for a long-term REMOTE project opportunity.
Responsibilities may include:
Listen to the oral presentation of the claimants over the phone and draft a suggested findings of fact, conclusions of law, and decision to be presented to the appeals tribunal/referee.
Researches legal precedents, case reports, and other legal documents to gather information for case preparation.
Confers with all parties to exchange and prepare information on the facts and status of a case.
Drafts correspondence, motions, pleadings, findings of fact, conclusions of law, orders, and other legal documents.
Gathering facts, interviewing witnesses, and preparing summaries of underlying evidence associated with a client’s claims.
Conducting research, placing outbound phone calls using client-provided technology, and synthesize their findings into an opinion and recommendation pursuant to training and procedures.
This is a dynamic role that requires excellent judgement, strong communication skills, and an analytical mind.
Project Details:
Pay rate: $23.50/hour
Duration: Through the end of 2020 with the possibility of extension
Start Date: Week of November 2
Expected Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm CST / 7:00am – 4:00pm MST
Role Requirements:
Nebraska residents preferred; but not required
Paralegal Degree (or comparable experience) or Juris Doctorate Degree required; law licensure is not required, though licensed attorney candidates are invited to apply.
Candidates must have access to high speed and secure internet (no mobile hot spots). Speed Test must be completed and submitted.
Candidates should not be pending for any permanent roles.
Candidates should be available to work 40 hours/week from 8:00am – 5:00pm CST / 7:00am – 4:00pm MST
Candidates should not have any time off requests for the first 3 weeks of the project.
