Apply full technical knowledge of all phases of data/database administration to develop, maintain and project long-range requirements for data/database administration and design. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology/Computer Science or 4 years of related technical and business experience. Experience in database administration, and in working with health related data preferred.
- Knowledge of database hardware including backup, recovery, operating systems, logical and physical design, infrastructure, storage capacity and data warehousing methods, hardware and software including applications and programming.
- Common query languages, data mining and storage, data administration and data standardization methods.
- Establishing database system requirements, analyzing database performance and modifying database configuration to correct problems.
- Ability to work well within a team environment and have exceptional collaborative skills.
- Create reports, dashboards and manipulate data in response to customer requirements, and generate complex queries and reports.
- Experience in providing leadership to coordinate work efforts, make assignments, monitor and report on work progress, and mentor staff.
