Celerion, Inc. seeks Scientist in Lincoln, NE.
Responsibilities: Perform original, innovative research and techniques that include developing and qualifying assays utilizing technologies for analysis of antibodies against biological drug products in biological matrices ranging from human and animal blood, plasma, and urine, to human cerebral spinal fluid. Apply ligand binding techniques such as solution phase bridging ELISA, MSD- ECL, ACE-ELISA, SPEAD-ELISA for the evaluation of immunogenicity. Apply ELISpot methodology for the evaluation of cellular immunity to support biotherapeutics development. Develop methods by applying and interpreting scientific theories, concepts, techniques, and regulatory requirements in bioanalytical studies and provide technical and scientific guidance and leadership to study teams, as well as other areas of the company to ensure project completion in timely manner. Implement design of experiments (DOE) and other systematic and statistical approaches to method development. Conduct research and development in compliance with regulatory requirements. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Microbiology, Chemistry or a related science degree.
Requirements: 2 years of experience in the job offered or related positions. Other special requirements: 2 years of experience with compliance in required laboratory GLPs/GMPs and QA/QC role in laboratory setting; 2 years of experience in SOPs, policies, safety and other regulatory requirements; 2 years of experience in immunoassay techniques; 2 years of experience with automated and/or semi-automated technology in laboratory setting; and
2 years of experience conducting diverse research and analysis of scientific data.
In lieu of a Master’s degree and 2 years of experience, employer will accept candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in the above/related fields and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related positions.
