What we are looking for and how you can help:
be highly motivated with strong leadership skills.
have a clean and presentable appearance.
have excellent communication skills.
possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
have a minimum of three years in interior remodeling.
have the following finish carpentry experience:
Installing cabinets
Installing doors and windows
Installing base, casing, shoe moldings
Floor install
Tiling
Light framing
Miscellaneous custom fabrications
be responsible for leading their own project, including:
Scheduling subcontractors
Procuring materials
Maintaining a clean work site
Time management
This is a full-time, year-round position, not a sub-contractor roll. Compensation will start at $18/hr. for a 90-day training period. After 90 days, wage will be re-evaluated based on performance and will include a $500 employee bonus plus paid vacation, paid Holidays and company matched IRA. The right person will move into a lead carpenter position after 90 days of training.
Must have a valid driver's license, with clean driving record. Must provide common hand tools - all other tools and work van will be provided by the company. Drug test and background check will be required.
