DescriptionDo you want to make a difference in someone's life? The Lincoln Regional Center Whitehall campus is looking for an individual for a permanent full-time position. Come join our team and help someone rebuild their life one step at a time. We are currently hiring for 2nd shift (2:45pn - 11:15pm) and 3rd shift (11pm - 7am) days off for each available schedule will vary, schedules will include work shifts on Saturdays and/or Sundays.Location: Whitehall Campus - 57th & WalkerSchedule: 2nd shift available, days off will vary but work schedules will include some weekend shifts on Saturday and/or Sunday.Examples of WorkIncumbents are responsible for providing direct supervision of adolescents by maintaining a secure, safe and clean environment. Maintaining a structured and therapeutic milieu. Implementing individual treatment plans, observing and documenting daily behaviors in nursing notes. Must be able to be Medication Aide trained in order to pass medications to the youth. Occasionally responsible for transporting youth to appointments or off grounds activities. Utilizing Handle with Care techniques, written, verbal and electronic communication as well as have computer skills. The Lincoln Regional Center is a Joint Commission accredited state psychiatric facility.Qualifications / RequirementsMust be at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent education, and must possess a valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation. . Preferred: Coursework/training in: social work, criminal justice, counseling and guidance, human development and the family, psychology, mental health care, education, social/behavioral sciences, human services or related area; OR Experience in: child or youth care, teaching, foster care, delinquency prevention, juvenile court systems, community work related to children and youth, behavioral health systems, patient care, nursing or other areas involving contact or interaction with youth or families. OTHER: Must be able to attend and complete one (1) week of New Employee Orientation, attendance during this time is mandatory. Must be able to work a shift assignment which includes weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime.
