Regional Sales Director - Preneed

Position Summary

This is a remote sales position that is responsible for building new relationships and maintaining existing relationships with funeral homes, agencies and agents in the Midwest to increase preneed insurance sales and revenue.

Regional Sales Director - Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Solicit new accounts and (non-employee) agents, agencies and Funeral Homes in the assigned territory, oversee accounts in assigned territory, train agents as necessary, attend sales meetings and conventions as needed, submit to home office regular updates and progress reports, promote Capstone in a positive light to area funeral directors’ associations and all other business associates.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as premiums, interest, commissions.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Must hold a valid/active state life license in the territories where he/she is conducting business.

Excellent communication skills, good to excellent writing skills, intermediate math skills. Must be able to calculate premium rates, insurance benefits and commissions based on given factors. Must have basic to intermediate computer skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with home office employees and supervising officer as well as new and existing clients.

Must hold a valid driver's license. Must be available for regular overnight travel.
