This executive position, reporting to the President & CEO, is responsible for providing leadership and strategic vision for all aspects of business development, fundraising, donor engagement and volunteerism for United Way of Weld County. The Vice President of Community Engagement successfully establishes, deepens and grows major business, individual, corporate and local foundation relationships and employs new and innovative engagement approaches, including corporate social responsibility, leadership giving strategies to reach new markets and donors. Responsible for leading donor relations and volunteers in implementing annual plans and making course collections when required to meet goals.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or 10 years’ experience in business, development, management, public relations or related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible business development or fundraising experience in a corporate or nonprofit organization.

Experience in serving as a spokesperson for an organization.

A record of creative and entrepreneurial leadership. At least 7 years of management experience, with at least 5 years at the senior leadership level managing teams. Proven ability to recruit, lead and manage development program and staff.

Proven ability to engage, inspire and influence corporate leaders and executives and high net worth individuals.

Salary:
