We are looking for an Assistant Teacher for our Primary (3 to 6 year olds) Room to start immediately. You will be working with a Lead Teacher and an additional Assistant Teacher with 28 children enrolled in the classroom. Your duties will include (but are not limited to) the daily care of the children (teaching, diapering/toileting, napping, meals, outside time, reading, singing, gross motor time, etc), cleaning of the classroom and lunch area, and assisting the Lead Teacher in anyway needed. You will be the closing teacher in the room, so dependability is a must! We will educate you on the Montessori Method and we prefer that you have at least one year experience working with children in a group setting. We are looking for a kind and hard working individual that is very reliable.
