Our school is located in the Millard area of Omaha, NE. We serve families with children that are 6 weeks - 6 years of age. We believe in educating every child to their highest potential. We do this through a specific curriculum designed for children to work at their own pace.
Preschool Classroom Assistant
We seek a classroom assistant in our preschool classroom, which consists of 4 and 5 year old children.You will work under the guidance of a lead teacher, helping to educate young children.
Responsibilities and Duties
Helping the teacher create a positive, loving, nurturing and educational experience for every child, everyday. Assistants also care for children before class begins, during lunch and nap time, and after the school day ends.
In addition to caring for the children, light cleaning duties happen daily. This includes sanitizing materials, sanitizing tables, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping the classroom floors.
Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma
Good communication skills with both children and adults are a must.
Professional experience.
Ability to work well with others.
Problem solving skills.
No previous experience needed for this position; we will train you!
