Automation Architect Location: Omaha, NE Duration: 5 months W2 contract to hire W2 ONLY

Seeking an Automation Architect with a proven track record that can bring the passion, work ethic and expertise needed to implement software automation across a business unit. This role focused on scaling the organization and practices and delivering best-in-class automation with repeatability and scalability. Must be able to provide high quality at a competitive velocity, driving both waterfall and agile methodologies across multiple teams. Working in partnership with application development, you will establish operational testing technology best practices, processes and tools to effectively and efficiently design and architect test automation frameworks with a fit for purpose in mind. Must drive, manage and lead through: Design & build test harnesses for Automation Testing Design/Architect test automation framework and develop test automation libraries Develop Automated Regression Pack Design & execute Regression Test Pack using frontend & backend test scripts using Automate the Test Data Management using Automation tools Must be able to multi-task several automation initiatives across the business Be a part of an ongoing effort to bring new testing knowledge into the team Utilize appropriate testing tools for both front-end and back-end Quality Assurance Test Environment set-up/management, monitoring and streamline release management Participate in Design and Architecture Meeting. Build and configure new interfaces to support testing activities Experience: Degree in CS, Engineering or other technical/analytical degree, preferred. 7+ years of related technical and business leadership experience with technical discipline 5-7+ years of management in leading large teams using various SDLC methodologies, i.e., Agile/Waterfall Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal) including the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience Strong organizational skills Strong experience in financial services payments industry Strong experience in development of CI/CD or DevOps Testing Models Ability to contribute and direct at all levels of testing including unit, functional, automation, performance and scalability testing; be able to step in and provide leadership in test design and implementation Experience in a micro/macro-service architecture environment a plus
