Aureus Group has partnered with a local, Omaha, NE organization for a Senior AWS Engineer. This is a great opportunity with Excellent benefits and a great team! This person will need to be able to go into the office occasionally, but can also work some remote.
Responsibilities of the Senior AWS Engineer: Implement, administer, monitor, and troubleshoot cloud and datacenter infrastructure systems. Work closely with team members, software & hardware vendors, and end-users to design technical solutions.Serve as a lead technical resource regarding the implementation and optimization of complex server-based configurations by providing expertise in various infrastructure platforms that include: SAN\storage management, virtualization architecture, disaster recovery systems architecture, patch management, and backup and recovery.Act as a Team lead in driving projects.Provide tier 3 support in resolving complex technical issues.Help is developing a technical roadmap for the AWS Cloud, Windows, Linux, and VMware environments.Perform daily tasks to monitor, maintain, and backup all enterprise Windows, Linux, SQL, and DB2 Database servers.Plan, build, implement and maintain the AWS Cloud, Windows, and VMware server infrastructure.Qualifications of the Senior AWS Engineer: Senior level experience with Windows Server technologies including AWS Cloud, Exchange, Active Directory, and DHCP administration.In-depth, hands-on experience in an enterprise-class server environment.5 years experience with server-level virtualization technologies.
