This role supports the Technology and Security (TS) Business unit and the Digital Transformation Management Office DTMO, DT Program Manager, Program Sponsor and the Program\project Leads. The Project Manager will coordinate, manage the DTMO work for TS. This role will work closely with Business Unit (BU) leadership team to ensure activities are planned, coordinated, communicated and executed. This role will act as a central hub for DTMO work for their assigned programs, projects and activities. Accountable to collaborate with Program\project leads, BU leadership and program\project team members to define specific activities.Comprehensively plan, track and manage program\project activates. Be aware of cross program dependencies, identify risks, measure and report on program\project progress. In addition there is an expectation to coordinate and provide progress reporting to on planned activities and coordinate, as needed with other individuals and groups. The Project Manager is accountable to both the Program Sponsors and the DTMO Manager for successful delivery of objectives and deliverables. There is an expectation that the Project Manager will stay aligned and coordinate with the DT Program Manager.Responsibilities and Accountabilities:1. Digital Transformation Support: act as a central hub for assigned DT program\projects• Act as a central point of unified planning for the DT program\project work• Single point of contact for DT program\project’s issues/risks identification and reporting• DT program\project point of contact to tie into other DT activities within TS and clients• Identify, track and coordinate cross program\project dependencies• Ability to manage vendors and consultants• Execution of projects will follow DTMO Framework and governance processes2. Digital Transformation Monitoring: analyze program\project(s) performance against planned milestones,• Produce program\project reporting (e.g., status updates, reviews) and deliver presentations indicating progress reports• Financial/Budgetary reporting on DT program\project funding utilization• Identify and escalate resource constraints• Track DT program\project activities and report and escalate when identified milestone or deliverables are at risk3. Digital Transformation Planning: ensure DT program\project activities are planned, coordinated, communicated and executed• Support Program\project Leaders, work steam team members and BU leadership with the development of comprehensive plans, business case proposals, measurements/metrics of success, and resourcing requirements• Contribute to analysis of initiative portfolio for potential conflicts in resourcing, feasibility of schedules, delivery dependencies, and other factors that may impede the successful delivery of portfolio outputs• Monitor and track progress, modify and recommend appropriate actions to keep program\project on plan for all initiatives• Develop Communication and Organizational Change Management plans with Program\project Leaders, Resources, Sponsors and Stakeholders. Work closely with organizational readiness resources.24. Digital Transformation Leadership: along with Program\project Leaders, provide leadership for the assigned program\projects.• Lead the Digital Transformation program\projects which included internal/cross-functional projects or participate on teams in various capacities (SME/Support Contributor/Advisor-Consultant/Etc…).• Provide experienced and senior leadership for the program and projects• Must have executive presence• Must be able to provide updates in concise and polished form ready for presentation to senior leadership• Utilize the most effective medium for the information you are communicating.• Support teams and provide real time feedback and coaching5. Functionally Specific Responsibilities/Accountabilities for managing projects:• Understand, utilizes and adhere to the TS DTMO Framework• Plan and manage project activities to ensure resource and sequencing of activities accomplish project objectives.• Coordinate sub-projects/tasks among vendor, internal resources and business partners• Maintain and prioritize list of issues impacting project and pro-actively assure their resolution through appropriate party (e.g., architects, tech leads, vendors, etc.)• Create program\project reporting (e.g., status updates, reviews) and deliver presentations indicating progress reports• Evaluate and create review documents for changes to project scope• Project risk assessment and assist in evaluating and identifying controls for the risks. Maintain and closely monitor the program risk management plan• Effectively collaborate with resource managers, leads and scrum teams on project team member selection and determine the best approach for maintaining engagement during the project.• Fiscal Accountability: Prepare project budget proposals. Monitor and develop reporting with regard to budgetary adherence and variances.• Prepare, maintain and provide analytics for all managed projects.• Make proactive recommendations to ensure adherence or develop a business case for any exceptions.• Prepare or utilize existing DTMO reports with accurate timely data for regular status reporting.• Cross Functional Working Relationships (CFWR):• Solution Architects – PM will receive guidance on scope, charters and architectural guidance.• Evaluation of nonfunctional requirements vs solution capabilities.• Business Analysts – PM will receive support to develop technical requirements• Technical Owner – Owns all technical aspects of the project including design, long term supportability and is Technical sponsor of the project. This role may assign and delegate certain aspect to a Technical Lead. Advises on implications of changes to scope/cost/resource needs. Will help with Stakeholder management.• Resource Managers – Provide input and feedback on resources• Product Owners – Provide input on work priority and advice on application development delivery resource availability. Will advise on scheduled for critical path work items• Business Owners – Assess implications of changes to scope/cost/resource needs. Is the business sponsor of the project. Will help with Stakeholder management.• Subject Matter Experts – Will provide advice and guidance from the business partner or area domain expertise perspective.• Project Steering Committees – When needed, is a form of stakeholder communication and source for feedback will need report status of project, budget, and resources6. Compliance: Understand and comply with all clients policies, and applicable Federal and State laws and regulations.• Complete all corporate and Business Unit specific compliance training. Adhere to all internal procedures and controls as required.• Report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations.• Perform audits, make recommendations with respect to any assigned area for review.• Perform root cause analysis if required.• Ensure all products and services provided adhere to all relevant regulations, policies and procedures.• Stay current on all related regulations, policies and procedures.• Adhere to all internal decommissioning procedures including updating documentation and change management.37. Communication:• Develop Communication and Change Management plans and cadence with Sponsor and Stakeholders.• Utilize the most effective medium for the information you are communicating.8. Professionalism/Attendance: Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships. Maintain regular and predictable attendance in alignment with expectations.Minimum Qualifications:Required:• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience• Minimum of 6-8 years’ formal project management experience with focus on technology projects to deliver business outcomes• Prior experience managing 2 or more projects\programs simultaneously with value of over $2 million each.• Strong analytical, communication and consulting skills• Previous experience managing the delivery of multiple assignments with overlapping priorities & timelines• Previous experience working in and/or leading cross-functional teams• Demonstrated ability to influence and effectively collaborate in team environments• Demonstrated planning and facilitation skills• Competency in the use of project management toolsDesired:• Project Management Certification• Demonstrated ability to work in agile\waterfall hybrid organizations Additional Considerations:• Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills, transparency• Ability to multi-task with two project teams spanning the organization with completing priorities• Prior experience with transformational projects, from strategic planning through execution• Prior experiences leading teams into emerging technologies to help innovate the business• Ability to work across the organization from IT to the business at all levels of the organization• Ability to quickly adapt to existing PM methods and requirements while meeting business objectives and requirements• Ability and desire to bring people along on the journey while meeting deadlines and deliverables• Ability to manage and support a large working groups made up of business partners and consultants• This person must be patience, persistence and practice humility Physical/Environmental:• Must have the ability to: work on multiple tasks at one time; work under stressful situations; operate a computer and other office equipment; sit at a desk for more than one hour at a time; move about the Company and Generation Plant and interact with all levels of the Company.• Frequent requirements of this position: sitting, speaking, hearing, ability to see information in print and/or electronically, keyboarding, and handling objects with hands.• Occasional requirements of this position: standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting and carrying at least 10 pounds, and driving.• This role will be in remote working environment, must be able to work from remote location.
