The Catalyst Team is seeking a Java Developer with Hadoop to join our full-time team as a full-time employee.Responsibilities- Administration of Hadoop (HDFS, YARN, Spark, Hive, HBase, Solr, Ranger)
- Strong experience with Performance Tuning of Hbase, Spark and Hive systems for high performance and higher volume throughput
- Responsible for troubleshooting on-prem Hadoop technologies like HDFS, Hbase, Hive, Zookeeper, Spark, YARN and Kafka.
- Responsible for: Database/SQL, query performance tuning/optimization, Spring JDBC
- Strong experience with HTML, JSON, and XML
- Develop with OO design and design patterns
- Ability to understand UML Design Diagrams, Database Design Models , Use Cases, Test Cases
- Utilizing CI/CD tools like Jenkins
- System Testing, Integration Testing, Load/Performance Testing
- Quality focused developer with solid experience in writing high coverage unit tests Development experience with Spring Framework (ideally through version 5.x) and Spring Boot (through version 2.x)
- 7+ years Development experience with Java SE, EE & Open Source Frameworks
- A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 4-5+ years with Big Data Technologies and management including ElasticSearch/Kibana, Hadoop
- Proven track record of delivering high quality software in a fast paced Agile Development environment
- Development Experience with HTTP Services/SOA
- Development Experience creating service definitions with OpenAPI/Swagger YAML
- Development Experience using Event Driven Architecture
- NoSQL/Big Data experience with ElasticSearch/Kibana, Hadoop
- Experience in writing Unix Shell scripts
- Strong experience with HTML, JSON, and XML
- Development experience with OO design and design patterns
- Ability to understand UML Design Diagrams, Database Design Models , Use Cases, Test Cases
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
- Knowledgeable in System Testing, Integration Testing, Load/Performance Testing
- Proactive and Self Driven attitude, Ability and willingness to grasp new technology and Knowledge quickly
