Maintenance Technician

Job Description

HCI is now hiring a Maintenance Technician to assist on minor repairs and complete cleaning tasks across multiple restaurant locations in the Omaha metro. A significant portion of this work will include commercial cleaning items, to include: FRP in the restaurant kitchen areas, restrooms, tables, floors, equipment, exterior patio tables, etc. The successful candidate will have a firm grasp on general plumbing repairs, paint processes, tile repair, drywall repair, and minor equipment troubleshooting. Over time, this position will absorb additional duties to include preventative maintenance tasks in power washing, snow removal, and potentially HVAC filter changes and inspection. This role will utilize a company provided vehicle, but basic hand tools are required for this position and will be provided by the successful candidate. As project complexity and the scope of work for this position increases over time, additional tools and job specific items (pressure washers, snow blowers, etc.) will be purchased and provided for the technician to complete his/her work as outlined in work requests from the District Manager or Facilities Manager.

The successful candidate will have a very strong work ethic, the ability to communicate via email, phone, and text, and will have a keen attention to detail. This position will work independently and will require self-discipline to remain on task to complete work within a reasonable time frame.

This role will require 30-40 hours per week across multiple locations within the Omaha Metro.

Pay starts at $40,000 per yeardepending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 1-2 yearsexperience as a maintenance tech
• Experience with basic hand tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Cell phone

Preferred Requirements:

• Technical certification in restaurant equipment/repair
• Bachelors degree
• 3-5 years relevant experience
