  • Take accountability for the development and evolution of Application Integration & EDI capabilities in partnership with business and IT partners.
  • Provide process and technical guidance in all areas of integration development and governance
  • Be influential in determining solution paths for both technical and business problems. Recommend process changes and system solutions to meet requirements.
  • Define/enhance/maintain, in close partnership with the Enterprise Architect, Integration architectural principles, guidelines, standards and solution patterns that align to the enterprise integration strategy.
  • Drive and help determine product prioritization and technology road maps with integration vendors including MuleSoft, IBM, SAP and Informatica.
  • Lead and maintain discipline around build and release operations, best-practices, and protocols across the entire integration team. Ensures that integration adheres to strict DevOps practices in place, and continuously improves the velocity and quality of integrations delivered over time through automation.
  • Oversee and provide guidance to integration developers, both internal and external resources, through the implementation and/or adherence of governance and standards.
  • Assess the technical effectiveness and architectural fitness of Integration & EDI tools as well as integration needs across applications.
  • Research and pilot creative frameworks, methodologies, and technology. Always strive to improve personal skillset, evaluating new trends and technologies.
  • Accountable and responsible for creating solution architecture for epics based on business requirements and outcomes, industry trends, and technology options.
  • Work with Portfolio Owners to ensure architectural considerations are incorporated into the portfolio's roadmap.
  • Contribute to cutover planning and release management ensuring technical patterns are adhered to.
  • Educate the broader organization on Integration Standards and best practices, and periodically review updates to governance model
  • Up to 10% business travel might be required
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field required
  • Minimum 7 years of experience building integration solutions, including EDI
  • Proven experience with application integration and API architecture
  • Deep understanding of MuleSoft Anypoint platform
  • Advanced knowledge of the latest application integration methodologies and frameworks
  • Experience with Azure DevOps including implementing automated Build and Release Pipelines (or experience with other DevOps tools e.g. Jenkins)
  • Versed in Project Management, Agile, Continuous Delivery and DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience leading development or integration teams, completing projects on time and within budget.
  • Strict adherence to best-practices and department coding standards
  • A test-driven development (TDD) mindset and has experience with unit testing using libraries
  • Translate complex technical concepts to business leaders, and business problems to technical teams
  • Preference will be given to candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship either now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Developer or Architect certification for MuleSoft
  • Understanding of infrastructure concepts like networking, VPC, VPN, load balancers and security concepts like identity management, authentication, and authorization.
  • Involvement with RAML or OAS
  • Experience designing, developing, and architecting solutions for IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, SAP Data Services, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), or Azure Data Factory.
  • Exposure to Azure services like Service Bus, App Insights, App Registrations, etc.
  • Working knowledge of EDI
  • 3-5 years' experience integrating with SAP preferred
  • Familiarity with working in a matrix organization with business and IT partners
  • Experience delivering product under the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Working knowledge of enterprise software licensing agreements
  • Experience working within JIRA / Confluence
