Job Description

Olsson offers clients a full spectrum of wastewaterservices, including planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services. As a Project Engineer-Wastewater Engineer, you will perform various engineering and project management duties related to evaluating, planning, designing, and constructing water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You may assist with developing project scope and schedule, project design and documentation, modeling, and construction administration. You will have the opportunity to instruct designers and mentor less-experienced staff. This position will require travel to our North Kansas City office once a month, or based on project needs.

You bring to the team:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
  • Bachelor’s Degree in civil or environmental engineering
  • Must be aregistered professional engineer or ability to obtain license within 6 months
  • At least 8+years of related design experience
  • Experience and knowledge with developing water or wastewater master plans, conservation plans, rate studies, water budget development, or other planning studies (preferred but not required)
  • Passion for detailed work
