Partial Work from Home / Work from ClientHTC Global Services is seeking a seasoned Salesforce Solution Architect with direct experience designing custom Salesforce solutions and leading the successful development and implementation thereof. This role will be to conduct assessments, gather requirements and design custom solutions for clients across multiple industries and business models, with emphasis on Banking and Insurance industry. Direct experience implementing a wide range of Salesforce platforms (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, et al) and AppExchange products will be a key to success. Experience with Salesforce integration work and data integration is a desired skill. Initial client engagements will involve assessing and designing solutions for key banking/insurance clients in the finance and marketing divisions or departments. A firm understanding of business processes is needed for customer acquisition and customer retention. This role will also be responsible for helping with HTC’s Salesforce Practice and growing business in this space. Mature skills around clearly articulating Salesforce design principles, using them to design and sell novel business solutions, and to lead development initiatives are needed. Ability to articulate solutions, prepare and present proposals will be a required skill. Candidates may work remotely from anywhere in the United States. Occasional travel to the client sites may eventually be required (post-COVID). This is a long-term permanent leadership position within HTC Global’s Salesforce practice.

Required Technical Skills
  • 6+ years of experience delivering Salesforce related solutions.
  • 3+ years of prior experience working in a Salesforce Solution or Technical Architect role.
  • 2+ years of direct experience accurately estimating custom Salesforce solutions in pre-sales scenarios.
  • Demonstrable experience building solutions that integrate Salesforce with partner systems and AppExchange managed packages.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the Investment Portfolio Management business (for first client engagement).
  • Ability to create entity relationship models relating both standard and custom objects.
  • Deep understanding of the technical inner workings of the Salesforce platform.
  • Deep understanding of, and hands on experience, with the various levers of Salesforce security management.
  • Ability to conduct code reviews, proactively guide developers, and refine their code based on known business requirements and sensibilities.
  • Proven ability to proactively collect, interpret, clarify, and refine business requirements and translate them into technical architectures and designs.
  • Evidence of having managed medium to large implementation teams.
  • Ability to confidently mentor client staff on best practice principles and frameworks.
  • Ability to lead mixed onshore/offshore technical teams.

Value Add Skills (helpful but not required)
  • Experience working in a premier Salesforce partner organization for an extended period of time involving multiple client engagements
  • Expertise working with both the Salesforce “classic” and “lightning” platforms.
  • Experience with AppExchange product development.
  • Experience designing site and pages with the end user experience in mind.
  • Advanced SQL, Java, and JavaScript programming skills.
  • Ability to communicate complicated technology concepts in a manner which is understandable in terms of business impact so that business decisions can be made.
  • Ability to interact across all levels of management.
