Overview
Concentrix Catalyst is the experience design and engineering team of Concentrix, a leading global solutions company that reimagines everything CX through strategy, talent and technology. We combine human-centered design, powerful data and strong tech to accelerate CX transformation at scale. The Catalyst Team is seeking a Scrum Master to join our full-time team as full-time employee.Responsibilities- Serve the team and product owner in turning requirements into the working software.
- Track progress and help the team achieve their commitments. Progress is monitored daily when problems are identified work with team to develop corrective actions.
- Manage and report the status of scope, schedule, resourcing and financials.
- Extract and document requirements. Author user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure team members understand processes and support the team in following them.
- Ensure product quality expectations are defined and known across the team.
- Collaborate with the team in scheduling work, including defect remediation and refactoring, guarding against the accumulation of technical debt.
- Work with technical team and product owner balancing the interests of both when issues arise.
- Remove impediments allowing the team to focus on engineering tasks.
- Take the lead on resolving conflicts within the team removing any roadblocks to collaboration.
- Guide project team meetings including sprint pre/planning meetings, daily scrum and sprint review meetings.
- Facilitate retrospective discussions and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Limit the external interference the team must deal with.
- 8-10 years of experience in Agile development including coaching on agile methodologies.
- Proven expertise in leveraging Tools like Jira Align and Jira Thread, QTEST
- Extensive knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies, architectures and technical standards.
- Ability to coach a team and stakeholders on Agile practices and ensure adherence to Agile methodology.
- Strong facilitation skills in leading planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Enjoys solving problems and able to resolve conflicts through strong mediation skills.
- Communicates clearly and can deliver complex messages and teach new concepts.
- Coaching and mentoring a team to maximize progress and potential.
- Is motivated and driven and can influence and drive teams to success using Agile/Scrum/Lean practices.
- Proven leadership experience in achieving successful project outcomes.
- Scrum Master Certification (Preferred).
- Negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teamwork in and across teams and organizations.
- Fully committed to transparency in all situations.
- Needs to have past technical experience.
- Experience managing multiple cross functional teams of 8-10 individuals
- Experience with Intermodal/rail or logistics (not just logistics in terms of shipping products)- nice to have
- Experince with PI Planning
