Information Security Engineer I

As a full-time Information Security Engineer, you will play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by supporting the RSD Division Information Security Team, with a focus on Vulnerabilities Management, Application Security and Cloud Security. While reporting to the RSD Information Security Practice Team Manager, you will be responsible for the security of RSD Applications, Infrastructure, Data and other IT assets.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the divisional point of contact to Enterprise Information Security team to support information security requirements and best practices at division level
  • Serve as the divisional point of contact for Enterprise Vulnerability Management Program including vulnerability scans, remediation and monthly KRIs.
  • Support Enterprise Security team to conduct penetration tests, security assessments, application security testing, and configuration management of applications and IT assets.
  • Respond in timely manner to security alerts, development of service processes and procedures, and administration/operation of security tooling including WAF, SEIM, DLP and Firewalls.
  • Work with divisional Applications Teams and various enterprise IT teams to ensure projects and initiatives meet or exceed company information security standards.

Factors for Success
  • 2-3 years of experience in Information Security.
  • Previous experience with Vulnerability Management.
  • Hands-on Experience with Splunk, WAF, CASB, DLP, Proxy and Firewalls.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, DevSecOps, SAST and DAST Tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodology.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent experience and skills.
  • Demonstrable experience writing clear and legible process documentation.
  • Strong communication skills.
