What does a great Senior Quality Assurance Analyst do?

The Senior QA Analyst will work with and is expected to provide guidance to internal and external clients during the certification cycle. You will be part of a team of dynamic professionals working on high-profile projects. In this role you will have exposure to and work with other technical and client facing partners, you will assist in driving quality and excellence. The role provides an opportunity to grow in a position that contributes to overall technical and client facing support.

As a Sr. QA Certifications Analyst you will:
  • Be responsible for certifying and implementing new client/vendor, functionality, and configuration modifications.
  • Receives client specific technical information and be responsible for creating configurations based upon this information, and following standard operating procedures, in a client certification environment.
  • Perform scripted certifications with clients, providing technical support and guidance throughout the process.
  • Also be responsible for the successful deployment of the solution to the production environment. Certification Analysts have daily interaction with external clients as well as internal departments.
  • Manage the technical and business aspects of client/vendor certifications
  • Manage and perform major client conversions and upgrades into the live production environment
  • Review new project business requirements and technical documentation and translate project requirements into certification methodologies
  • Build configurations for client certification that will be used in the production environment upon a successful certification
  • Develop certification strategies/plans, and execute established standard operating procedures to deliver quality and accuracy
  • Identify defects within the software and notify affected parties as well as assist in problem resolution related to certification
  • Monitor success of conversions and troubleshoot or escalate as appropriate
  • Participate on project teams as a subject matter expert
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
  • College/technical school, BS in Computer Science or related discipline strongly preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years' equivalent EFT experience in the EFT data processing area is required
  • Minimum 3+ years working with JSON/XML and RESTful APIs in a production environment
  • Deep functional knowledge with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc .) and JSON messages
  • Experienced in writing test cases and performing and validating integration testing
  • Ability to analyze code, de-bug, and deliver clean, validated, maintainable code
  • Excellent understanding of the web development project cycle; accustomed to rigid QA processes and extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills
Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:
  • Knowledge of payment processing, financial transaction processing, switching and authorization environments strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of transaction simulation tools preferred
