Marsh Creek Concrete Inc., founded in 2002, is a high energy, fast paced commercial concrete contracting company located in Gretna, NE. MCCI seeks a full-time, experienced Pump Operator to operate a 32 and/or a
38-meter boom pump for our concrete placement. We do not perform pumping services for the public, only for our own forces.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of concrete pumping experience. The experience can be in residential or commercial projects; however, we only perform commercial projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Arrive at the pump site and set-up
-Conduct a pre-pump safety meeting on site
-Operate the pump for the entire concrete placement
-Oversee and perform pump clean-up and stow
-Communicate locations and schedules to company supervisors
-Perform required paperwork; timesheets, production logs
-Operate the equipment in a safe and professional manner
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess a Class A CDL
- Familiar with safe construction methods
- Able to perform the required tasks physically
- Able to organize and communicate with concrete suppliers
- Must possess a safe driving record
- Be able to work long hours
As a full-time employee, you will qualify for health insurance, dental insurance and life insurance. Company phone is provided or reimbursement. This is a year-round position that pays hourly. Rates of pay are based on relevant experience.
