Job Title: .NET Developer

Location: Omaha, NE (Hybrid; Onsite in Omaha, Nebraska 3 days per week (Tue Wed & Thu))

Duration: 12-month contract with probable extension

Job Description:Our Prime Vendor is helping their client hire a Senior .NET Developer who has a passion for creating innovative and engaging software that is used by a diverse set of customers, both internal and external. This is with a growing company and will provide continued opportunity for professional growth.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Work with Business Analysts to understand the needs of the customer and generate understandable and testable requirements.
  • Work with Senior Developers and Architects to design and implement functional, maintainable code.
  • Follow industry and company best practices.
  • Commit code regularly for peer review and review others' code.
  • Responsible for documenting all programs to the required company standard.
  • Continually learn and stay up to date with the ever-changing technical landscape.

Job Qualifications:
  • Five or more years in a .NET Core/C# environment.
  • Front end experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
  • Microservices; experience with API development is required.
  • Containerization; Kubernetes or Docker.
  • Azure Cloud experience.
  • Strong experience in Agile methodologies.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field, or relevant work experience.
  • Experience with SQL or other relational databases.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven self-starter and creative problem solver.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
