At New Ideas Manufacturing, we research, design, manufacture and ship our products directly to customers all over the world. We have become one the fastest growing startups in our industry.

We have successfully launched 5 Kickstarters, won multiple product design awards, have seen explosive growth in a very short period and are looking for world class Product Support Specialists to join our team of professionals in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

The Product Support Specialist will consistently deliver and exceed our high standard of customer support by serving our customers by email, phone and LiveChat.

Going above and beyond for our customers is something we proudly do. We want you to engage with our customers and think critically to help the customer find the right products, answer their advanced questions, solve their issues, track down orders and sometimes get creative with solutions.

Ability work under pressure with time-sensitive shipping deadlines is a must, while working with a high sense of urgency combined with providing outstanding customer service.

Ideal Candidate:

Someone who thrives in challenging, fast-paced environments

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities

Can easily shift priorities depending on the business daily needs

Ability to work independently

Take initiative; having a strong sense of ownership with a bias for action and willingness to role-up your sleeves

Ability to establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with co-workers, customer and vendors

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to become a subject matter expert in our products

Sincere passion for delivering exceptional customer service and overall experience

Bonus if you have experience with technical support for hardware or software products

Ideal candidate has previously worked for Starbucks, REI, Nordstrom, Costco, etc.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years within a customer-facing environment

Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical or technical product support role

We are looking for part-time to start and it will be a full-time position for the right candidates. Hours are flexible.

We need help getting back on track and are looking for 3 individuals of various levels to come in and own the department and keep up with how fast we are growing.
