Position Summary:
Columbine Country Club is currently seeking qualified candidates for full time housekeeper early morning & evening positions for immediate hire. Housekeeping Attendants ensure the Club continually meets the highest possible standards for cleanliness and polished presentation. They work as a well-coordinated team to promptly remove and appropriately handle waste, including maintenance of the disposal area. To accomplish this they clean, dust and polish, sweep, scrub and wax both by hand as well as using various machines. Housekeepers can communicate effectively with members and management in order to address needs and report items or areas needing attention including safety issues. With a great deal of responsibility Housekeepers are experts at safely handling all chemicals and cleaning supplies, safe storage techniques, keeping floors dry and the identification and elimination of trip and all other potential hazards in accordance with policy and procedure.
Job Duties:
Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, doorways, walls, stairway, and other work areas so that health standards are met. Dust and polish furniture and equipment, polish metalwork.
Complete daily cleaning of assigned section in a timely fashion while also being responsive to Supervisor’s redirection to perform intermittent, non-routine tasks that arise on a daily basis.
Replenish supplies, hand soaps and lotion, bathroom items. Keep storage areas, carts and work areas well stocked, clean, and tidy.
Empty wastebaskets, transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Maintain disposal area clean. Using chemicals appropriately
Sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers. Wash windows, walls, ceilings, windowsills and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
Qualifications:
Self-motivated individual able to use good judgment, flex and change speedily under challenging circumstances
Team player with can-do attitude, able to work well with others, resolving problems quickly and effectively
Able to work well under pressure, keep up with the workload, stand on feet and use correct body posture to do manual labor all day
Punctual and reliable
Work schedule must be flexible and will include weekends & holidays
Previous experience in a similar luxury environment is a plus
Compensation:
Qualified Housekeeping candidates will be compensated with a fair, hourly rate based on prior experience.
