We are a mitigation repair construction company looking for a project estimator to meet with customers and get the information needed to complete an estimate in the Xactimate program (supplied by company) and send to the insurance adjuster for approval.
This position is a 1099 commission based with a average salary of 60-75k per year or more.
All leads will be provided at an average of one-two jobs "per day" Monday - Thursday (Friday left to catch up on writing of estimates). Work is year round
We are an essential business and with the current situations a face mask must be worn at every job and we suggest disposable gloves as well. When the office schedules the appointments we make sure to make sure no one has been infected, ill or are being quarantined at the job you are scheduled to go to.
Interior residential experience is necessary as it will base on what you are paid. Your pay will be a percentage of the estimate approved and work started.
Must have a computer to write up the estimate in an Xactimate estimating program.
Must have a reliable vehicle, and valid drivers license with insurance.
Job description:
We will schedule leads for you to go look at. We will send you the customers name, address and time of appointments the day before the scheduled appointment.
You will need to be customer service oriented, show up on time with a professional attitude towards the homeowner.
Try to answer questions the homeowner might have. We will always be within a phone call away if needed.
Sketch/measure the affected areas, take pictures and notes of materials needed. Must be able to pay attention to the details as with the estimate reflecting your pay you will not want to miss anything that needs to be done.
Head back to your office/home to write up the estimate according to the Xactimate/Company guidelines, which will consist of uploading, organizing and labeling the pictures, sketch the affected areas, list needed items to complete the repairs back to pre-loss condition.
Company will have you be with an estimator for a week/two weeks if needed to get you used to how/what the company works/expects.
Must be able to work unsupervised.
Interior residential experience required.
Xactimate experience preferred.
