Work Shift: 3RD SHIFT (United States of America)The electrician will be in charge of the design, testing, implementation, and controls of all new and existing electrical systems in the plant, water treatment area, and all external buildings. Overseeing all electrical changes that take place on site and direct the maintenance associates involved. Contact with and ensuring that all projects that require contractors are completed in a timely manor. Train all maintenance associates on electrical principals and code as well as proper techniques for electrical systems troubleshooting.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:Design and implement all electrical systems for new installations.

Maintain all Motor Control Centers ensuring that they are up to code in all areas.

Maintain Camera System.

Design, implement, maintain, and upgrade all PLC systems and develop automation plan.

Install conduit and run wire for all new and old work in accordance with NEC.

Plan all lighting changes and follow through to completion.

Ensure that all external electrical lighting and outlets are operational.

Inspect Grounding system for the plant on an annual basis.

Train all maintenance associates on proper electrical troubleshooting.

Train all maintenance associates on proper electrical Preventative Maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS:Licensed Journeyman Electrician preferred

Excellent attention to detail

Willing to work overtime as required

Excellent time management skills

Self-starter with innovative ideas and excellent follow through

Proven leadership ability

Able to learn new processes with minimal supervision

Ability to use hand tools and trades type tools

Strong mechanical background required.
