Join our company and be part of an innovative team that’s First in Food.POSITION SUMMARY :Drive forklift to unload shell eggs from trailers. Identify types of shell and put shell into correct storage locations. Enter shell received into SAP for tracking. Pull shell egg for productionDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Unload inbound shell from trailers.

Assists in ensuring proper egg rotation to maintain up-to-date inventory.

Assists in the transportation of raw products and materials to and from the production area.

Assists in the cleanup of the shell receiving area until the end of the shift.

Fills out the forklift check list before beginning operation of the forklift.

Needs to be able to work in a team environment.

Follows all HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), OHSA, and MFI guidelines and regulations.

Enter shell received into SAP

Accountable for notifying the supervisor if there is any damage to the product.

Makes sure the materials are clean and sanitized before sending them to producers.

Adheres to safe work practices, following GMP’s, maintaining sanitary conditions and ensuring that product quality is maintained. Reports to management if any conditions or practices may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.

Adheres to all company policies and procedures.

Able to perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED:

Ability to read, write and enter data into SAP PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Good communication skills.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Able to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Capability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.

Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to obtain a forklift license.

Able to understand and follow oral or written instructions.

Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.

Ability to load and unload egg and material trailers.

Good mathematical skills.

Available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Must be attentive at all times and safety minded.

Demonstrates the ability to work effectively with others to complete work assignments.

Open to change.

Positive interpersonal relationships.

Able to work independently and with others in a team environment.

Self-motivated while also willing to ask questions and seek direction.

Displays responsible behavior at work.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
