CRI Advantage is looking for a Data Warehouse Administrator IV to work onsite in Carson City, NV. The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has a thick client application developed using Power Builder, COBOL, DB2, CICS, VB.NET, ASP.NET and MS SQL Server. The DMV application is used by over 1200 internal users and thousands of external users. Nevada law makers approved funding to hire contractor to cleanse the DMV data in preparation of the modernization/transformation effort. In an effort to cleanse data, DMV will be staging the data in an isolated MS SQL Server environment to ascertain if the data is valid, complete, and is conversion ready.

  • Document changes and follow protocols established by Nevada DMV.
  • Follow guidelines established by Nevada DMV.
  • Participate in JAD sessions for data cleansing project. Work with different user/user groups to gather and document business rules.
  • Translate and transform business rules into workflows
  • Log time using DMV Time tracking software (Remedy) on a daily basis
  • Provide status reports as required by DMV personnel

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or any other equivalent degree with a minimum of seven (7) years of

    programming experience. Ideal candidate will have many years’ experience in Informatica Data Quality V10 with strong SQL background
  • Experience administering Informatica Data Quality V10.x and /Power Center
  • Demonstrated ability to monitor, manage, and tune Data Quality environment
  • Demonstrated ability to debug and troubleshoot issues with Data Quality installation and services
  • Strong knowledge of best practices related to development, deployment, and scheduling of data quality workflows, mapplets, and applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate and transform business requirements/rules into workflows
  • Must have experience working in Medium to Large scale data quality environments.
  • Expertise in performance tuning to improve execution times
  • Expertise in designing conceptual, logical and physical designs for various database objects
  • Experience in writing complex SQL queries in a SQL Server environment.
  • Must possess strong knowledge of relational database concepts
  • Must have experience and skills to provide adequate information for users to understand and address exceptions
  • Must have experience working in a team based development environment.
  • Excellent at creating stored procedures, functions, packages, database triggers and other database objects using SQL
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills required to effectively work in the field of applications development and maintenance.
  • Excellent at Understanding Integration Technologies and Domains and work flows.
  • Must have good communication, documentation and user requirement gathering skills.
