Retro Manufacturing, a world-wide leading manufacturer of car audio and seat belts for classic cars located in Henderson, NV, has an immediate opening for a full-time Accountant position.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for maintaining, reporting, and analyzing all financial records for the company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Generate and present quarterly and annual financial reports and monthly sales reports.

Develop annual operating budgets to control costs and maximize overall margin.

Audit statements and accounts for accuracy, and make adjusting journal entries as needed to

ensure all transactions are classified correctly by account.

Perform monthly account reconciliations of the checking, money market, PayPal, and credit card

accounts for Retro Manufacturing (RM), RetroBelt (RB), Rock Creek Properties, and 7470 Commercial

Way, LLC.

Reconcile and enter inventory counts for RM and RB.

Perform weekly audits of FedEx shipping statements for RM and RB.

Process deposits of daily credit card transactions, checks, automatic clearing house transactions,

and wire transfers.

Process payment of vendor invoices through wire transactions, credit card payments, electronic

fund transfers, and checks.

Submit forms for and payment of monthly sales and payroll taxes, quarterly modified business

and property taxes, and annual commerce tax, as well as preparing the annual tax packets for

RM, RB, RC, and 7470.

Create credit memos, email copies to vendors, and process refunds for credit card and PayPal

transactions related to returned merchandise.

Process payroll in a timely manner and oversee 401K.

Monitor and maintain appropriate bank balances and resolves discrepancies.

Ensure that policies and procedures (internal controls) are in place and utilized to provide

reasonable assurance that the company assets are protected.

Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.

Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.

Assemble information for external auditors for annual audits.

Perform other duties as requested by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

4-year degree in Accounting.

3+ years of experience in the field.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics GP.

Proficient in SalesPad.

Knowledge of QuickBooks.

Ability to meet assigned deadlines and to multi-task.

Highly detail oriented.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees,

management and external vendors to maximize performance, creativity,

problem-solving and results.
