RSI is a nationwide cabinet/countertop company seeking individuals with cabinet design software experience. This position requires the ability to read blueprints/specs in detail and be knowledgeable with measurements. The ideal candidate will interpret drawings to create a detailed set of shop drawings for use during fabrication and contractor's review.
Responsibilities include:
Design and create detailed shop drawings based off architectural drawings and specs.
Proper, accurate and timely communications with customers throughout drawing submittal process
Work closely with project managers and other team members to meet deadlines
Transfer drawings to Mozaik software for CNC nesting
Manage and track submittals for multiple jobs
Requirements
2+ years Autocad experience
2+ years experience working in a cabinet shop and/or installing cabinets
Knowledge of cabinetry construction and how parts interface with each other
Good communication skills
Strong attention to detail
This is an in-office position and cannot be worked remotely.
Hours of operation Monday-Thursday 6-4:30
