Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), is currently seeking an Analyst II – IT Solution for a position in Las Vegas, NV. This will be an onsite contract opportunity. The Analyst II – IT Solution will assist with the administration, configuration, and troubleshooting for an ACSC Upgrade Project.QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
  • MUST be able to acquire and retain a Nevada Gaming Control Board registration and other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
  • 3+ years of experience in providing L1 and L2 application support required.
  • 5+ years of experience providing advanced L3 application support to include interface troubleshooting across various application platforms (Windows-based, web-based, mainframe applications) preferred.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work with all backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be available to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise for business functions or configuration of application systems environments in the VLV Application suite.
  • Maintain, administrate, and configure Windows-based applications.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting Web-based applications.
  • Dissecting interface application logs to perform root cause analysis.
  • Navigating and configuring mainframe applications.
  • Work independently to deliver on projects tasks defined by project managers and assigned by resource managers.
  • Provide L2 application and on-call support for the client application suite independently and self-directed; manage project to completion.
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: business requirements, functional requirements, and use-cases.
  • Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates using natural language.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Strong analytical and product management skills required; complete understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills, customer service focus, attention to detail, and process orientation.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Safety is an essential function of this job.
  • Consistent and regular attendance including on-call availability on a rotational basis is an essential function of this job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
