- Create, maintain, and manage business process, requirements and design specifications documentation related to proposed system solutions.
- Collaborate in planning, design, and development of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
- Manage communications within project team, other IT personnel and management, organizational partners, and external consultant/contractor resources.
- Coordinate and perform quality assurance testing for system changes and implementations.
- Meet with product owners and end users to define business and operational requirements in conjunction with system goals.
- Develop training materials for end user and IT application training.
- Assist with instructor-led and online application training for diverse groups.
- Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improvement.
- Ensure effective use of change/issue management, project management and work prioritization.
- Provide guidance and share knowledge with IT Support staff members.
- Ability to work independently and must possess additional attributes such as excellent
- communication skills and a solid teamwork ethic.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience in in IT Business Systems Analyst role.
- 5 years in an Agile Business Systems Analyst position.
- Experience facilitating meetings and application training for large groups.
- Acceptance, beta, and functional software testing experience.
- Proficient in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to use proven problem-solving approaches.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, decision making and communication skills (i.e., verbal, written, presentation).
- Working knowledge of application development, infrastructure, database, and system design.
- Agile project management experience utilizing planning, time management, risk management, and negotiation skills.
