Description: What is the specific title of the position? Systems Management Specialist Work location ? 2716 N Tenaya Way, Las Vegas NV 89128 with local travel Work hours (ex. 9am-5pm day/night shifts rotating shifts etc)? Day shift Please provide a summary of the project/initiative that this candidate will be working on? Will primarily provide in-person technical support for the Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) under guidance of supervisor. Monitoring the ticket management system to provide timely resolution for users in areas of responsibility. Generate tickets on behalf of clinicians to ensure all issues are actively tracked and resolved in a timely manner. Will be the primary support analyst during times others are on PTO or working on other projects. Taking inventory of devices (Desktops, Laptops and some medical devices), verifying that devices are in a ready state for use by clinicians. Will coordinate with other Technical Support teams to ensure high availability of hardware. Take ownership and support clinicians with non-complex Windows 10 issues, Office 365, network printing and general device connectivity while escalating complex technical issues. Build relationships with cross-functional IT teams to ensure timely issue resolution What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position (please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)? Able to clearly document calls and issues in the ticket management system while meeting service level agreements (SLAs) Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills for handling difficult customer calls, major issues, and escalations to technical teams and vendor support teams Uses, protects and discloses patients' protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards Gain in-depth understanding of vendor software used in the ASCs which includes: GE Perioperative EMR suite, Provation MD, Vocera Communications platform, Capsule technology and Imprivata OneSign Performs additional duties as assigned and must have reliable transportation. What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background specific industry experience etc.)? The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and eager to learn. A background in IT support or business and is looking to build a career in healthcare IT. Experience with IT incident management systems such as Ivanti HEAT, ServiceNow, etc. Experience supporting EHR or EMR applications, Microsoft Office365, basic networking knowledge and writing or updating technical support documents/KB What skills/attributes are required (please be detailed as to number of years of experience for each skill)? High School Diploma/ GED 1+ years of application technical support experience COVID-19 vaccination.
