Atrilogy's direct client is seeking a Information Security Architect IV to join their team on Direct Hire basis. This person must sit in Las Vegas at our client's headquarters. No 3rd Parties | No C2C Position Summary: The Senior Information Security Architecture is accountable for creating a future security architecture blueprint that is tightly linked to Credit One's business strategy and ensures that all Information Technology initiatives are engineered, deployed and maintained securely. The Senior Information Security Architecture is expected to build strong relationships in IT, with a focus on collaboration and direct communication. This position will aid the department in meeting the company's strategic goals. Summary Essential Job Functions:
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure architects, and software development architects, focusing on end to end engineering.
- Guide the development of architectural standards, processes and tools that drive not only security, but predictability, consistency, performance, quality and satisfaction in accordance company and industry standards and best practices.
- Define and deliver security architecture, reference architecture, prescriptive architecture and design patterns for the IT organization for both on-premise and cloud deployment in mind.
- Direct the enterprise architecture team with considerations for security/application vulnerability, various application development approaches and architectural frameworks.
- Work in a consultative fashion with other IT leaders that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
- Responsible for development of architectures that deliver and support information security. Collaborate on architectures that support overall strategy, portfolios, projects, and solution delivery.
- Work hands-on whenever needed as we are a growing team and additional resources may not always be available
- Support IT leadership functions including annual planning, budgeting, status reporting, presentations and continuous improvement.
- High proficiency with cloud services (e.g.: OpenShift, Azure, AWS), modern JS frameworks (e.g.: React, Angular, NodeJS), SQL and NoSQL DBMS (e.g.: SQL Server, Postgresql, Mysql, Redis, MongoDB), Object oriented development (e.g.: Java, Node.js, Go, Rust or .NET/C#), native and/or hybrid mobile development (e.g.: iOS, Android, PhoneGap, ionic), REST based microservice APIs, DevOps & CI/CD
- Keep current with trends and issues in the IT industry, including current technologies and delivery models.
- Actively promotes the mission of the company within the organization.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in technology, engineering or related field
- 8-10 years progressive Information Technology experience; 5 or more years leadership and strategic experience
- Ability to work through ambiguous and open-ended business requirements and priorities and translate the same into a clear roadmap and definition of success
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Professional security certification (example: CISSP)
- Experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance, and reliability (or resilience)
- Solid understanding of security protocols, standards, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and industry best practice security standards
- Working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing (engineering) security solutions and controls
- Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of bank personnel to explain and enforce security measures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as business acumen
- Accepts ownership for accomplishing assigned tasks - exhibits leadership in adding value to architecture function and security as a whole
- Demonstrate company core values of excellence, ownership, collaboration, and integrity
- MBA/MS in a related field preferred
- Experience in a regulated environment - financial services preferred
