- Any additional technologies this resource will need to have hands on experience with?
- Cisco and Palo alto are the main technologies needed for this role. Extreme experience would be helpful since they are migrating away from Extreme.
- How much design vs hands on keyboard work will this resource be doing?
- 10% design and 90% hands-on. We have set a lot of the standards for these types of installs.
- Designs and troubleshoots telecommunications and network communications systems
- Technologies: Extreme Network, Cisco ACI
- What else will this resource be doing on a day to day basis? Is this truly a design/architecture role?
- Las Vegas needs a complete network overhaul at all locations. This person will be responsible for taking these locations and following the BHE standards to update these networks and switch them from Extreme to Ciso
- How strong will they have to be with ACI?
- BHE has two strong engineers in ACI. They will need to get familiar with it to be able to add devices and make changes. Current BHE engineers will have the main responsibility of ACI until we get others up to speed.
