A major Ecommerce company that supports live entertainment is looking to hire a Principal Java Developer to join their new, expanding team based in Arizona. This team falls under their core ticketing division, responsible for building the shared service APIs that are consumed across all their platforms and interfaces. You will have the opportunity to be apart of a greenfield project, developing the backing services for an application that streamlines the ordering process and enhances customer experience. The ideal candidate has extensive Java development experience, working on high transaction web applications. Previous experience developing robust APIs and using public cloud will help you stand out as an applicant. Contract Duration: 3-6 months with conversion to FTE Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of Software Development and IT experience
- Java (8 or higher)
- Spring Framework
- RESTful webservices
- Public cloud (AWS preferred)
- Experience in CI/CD environments
- Great written and verbal communication
- Experience in a highly collaborative environment (XP, Paired Programming, etc.)
- Kubernetes and/or Docker
- Cassandra database
- Event-driven architecture
- 100% Java
- 80% Hands On
- 20% Technical Leadership
