Strong PC skills with current operating systems.Intermediate to advancedability to create excel spreadsheets for data tracking and trending (Will need to demonstrate prior to hire)Ability prioritize daily tasksKnowledge of medical terminologyMust have prior insurance eligibility and authorization experience. Must be able to retain a high level of confidentiality. Works independently and is flexible with all job duties.EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 1 year of experience working for post-acute services ie. Home Health Care, Skilled Nursing, Durable Medical Equipment, prior insurance eligibility and authorization experience/or/1 year working with Acute Hospital Case Management/Discharge Planning, prior insurance eligibility and authorization experienceEDUCATION: High School graduate, College graduate preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills.

Ability to create and utilize excel spreadsheets – prior to hire.

Well organized and have the ability to prioritize, and handle multiple tasks efficiently and independently.

Demonstrated ability to initiate and follow through with multiple projects.

A self-starter and independent worker with excellent time management skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, friendly and process-oriented office environment.

Possess strong PC skills with current operating systems

Can maintain accurate and specific documentation directed by the Case Management Plan.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
