  • Scrum Master should be hands on and not a facilitator
  • Should have knowledge on what the team actually did and sat and resolved issues and was not a JIRA board admin
  • Should be proactive and drive the program end to end
  • Should have managed team and articulate how they set the backlog and derived the program from it
  • Should be a communicator and not just a servant leader
  • Should have a fair bit of knowledge on how to work with others in an agile world
  • Should be able to understand end to end SDLC process
    • Essentially the resource should know what his team did and not be out of sync, which the new world scrum masters are mostly. Min 8 years experience and prior technical experience will help.
