Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Systems Analyst 3 for an onsite contract position in Las Vegas, NV. This role will analyze, support, maintain, and troubleshoot existing or proposed Aviation data systems.QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 9+ years of job-related experience or equivalent knowledge.
  • Proven history of supervising support personnel.
  • Background in Aviation operations is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience with aviation software (e.g., P2K, AIMS, Teledyne AirFASE, Electronic Flight Bags, SharePoint, SQL, and Power BI for reporting).
  • Excellent written communication abilities.
  • Understanding of word-processing and integrated software applications.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail is required.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Professional knowledge of the aviation business, best practices, and systems to guarantee safe and effective operations.
  • Capable of using existing systems and work with the contract team and IT on integration of data and dashboards for productivity and efficiency.
  • Identify system and application updates and necessary patches and work with the contract team and IT to evaluate, implement, and train users on the adjustments.
  • Offer end user support on aviation software to include job aids, formal training, and personal guidance.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze with the contract team and IT to identify root cause of problems and provide solutions.
  • Provide assistance and proficiency in locating and applying new effective guidelines in the daily operation process using software tools.
  • Perform customer requirement analysis for existing or proposed systems to determine viability and objectives of requests.
  • Create or modify system and prepare reports, schedules, data requirements, security access rules, and system constraints.
  • Provide administrative support to project management staff in customer meetings, presentations, and briefings.
  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
